Northern Region Athletics

A successful day for all 86 St Matthews students at the Northern Regions Athletics Carnival held in Dubbo on 29th July.

The sportsmanship and effort on display was fantastic. A large number of students have progressed to the Diocesan Carnival, including our 4 relay teams.

The day was topped off with 5 out of 6 Age Champion Medals being presented to St Matthews students. 

St Matthews Celebrated 'Green and Gold Day'

It was a sea of Green and Gold as we joined in the national initiative of 'Green and Gold Day' in celebration of the 2024 Olympics.

The Olympic values of excellence, respect and friendship align closely with the St Matthews Way and provide an opportunity for us to reflect on how, through our own words and actions, we can all strive to make the world a better place.

It was wonderful to see staff and students embrace the day in support of our Olympic Athletes with some very creative outfits on display.
